Broccoli & Peanut Sauce

When you buy purple sprout broccoli, it looks so precious. Long, with tiny little purple flowers, you have no choice than add them to your shopping tote.

Ingredients for 4 as a side dish

      

      

      

  • 200g of purple broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp of lime juice
  • 1 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tspp of olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of cashew milk (can be substituted with water)
  • 1 tbsp of crunchy or smooth peanut butter ( as per your preference)

Step 1

In a steamer, steam the broccoli for 5 minutes, until the stems are soft.

Step 2

For the sauce, mix the lime juice, soy sauce, olive oil, cashew milk and peanut butter.

Step 3

Immediately serve the broccoli sprouts and drizzle the sauce on top.

As a final touch, sprinkle chopped roasted peanuts for the broccoli to catch them in their unopened flowers.
