I don’t know why salted nuts are so expensive in grocery stores whilst it’s so easy to make your own! Here is the simplest and most delicious recipe to pimp up my utmost favorite nut, the pecan nut.
- 200 g of pecan nuts cups raw cashews
- 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp of dry fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 1/2 tsp flaky salt
Heat oven at 150°C.
Spread the pecan nuts on a baking sheet and roast for 20 min, stirring every 10 minutes.
In a medium bowl, mix olive oil, rosemary, salt and pepper.
When pecan nuts are ready, combine with rosemary mix.
