Someone is coming for a drinks, or you completely forgot to prepare an appetizer. Look inside your fridge, do you have any puff pastry? If so, you are fine because this is the easiest recipe ever!
- 1 roll of puff pastry
- 3 to 4 small very ripe tomatoes, sliced 1/2 cm thick
- 3 tbs of whole grain mustard
- 2 tbs of dried thyme
- 1 tbs of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste.
Preheat the oven at 180°C.
Unroll the pastry dough and cut in even squares of 4 x 4cm.
Spread the mustard in the center of each square and place the tomatoes over it.
Spread with olive oil, sprinkle with (a lot) of thyme and salt and pepper to taste.
Place in oven for 15 – 20 min until the dough around the tomatoes is golden.
